You’ll want to make sure you catch up on any character episodes, check out Trigleph’s new custom items, and complete all the Job Board’s exclusive requests. This is the clean-up chapter because at the start of Chapter 15 you’ll be forced to make a choice that branches the game into multiple endings.

If you head to Technology Drive and talk to Nova you’ll learn that although you no longer HAVE to pay your debt you still have a debt. This means that you’ll still want to make payments as you progress through the game. Why? Well, because you’ll still want the rewards and sub-ending you get for paying off all 20 million gald.
