The best use for the
Mirror Herb in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is to allow you to transfer compatible egg moves from one Pokémon to another during a Picnic. This is especially useful for certain builds, like allowing 
Azumarill to learn Belly Drum. -
When used as a hold item, this will allow a Pokémon to copy the stats of the opposing Pokémon, at which point the item will be used up.
