The Defiled Temple, also known as The Temple of Selûne, is a significant Location in Act One providing access to the Underdark.

How to Find / Access

The Defiled Temple is accessible through a door located in Gut’s chambers within the Shattered Sanctum (X: 253, Y: -7). This entrance offers one of the pathways to reach the Underdark. The location is guarded by Polma, Gut’s bodyguard.

• Moon Tile Puzzle
  Within the northeastern part of the Defiled Temple, a room contains a puzzle involving four central tiles. Solving this puzzle requires rotating the tiles strategically: align the full moon icons on the northern tile, position half-moons on the outer west and east tiles, and arrange empty moon icons on the southern tile. Alternatively, a concealed lever near the stairs can be revealed using Perception (X: 442, Y: 64) to unlock the way, bypassing the puzzle.
