How do you get the persuasion check? I'm playing as Shadowheart & her deception is bad so I have to reload until I get a good roll. I seen the persuasion check once when I played a Tav Rogue, why don't I have the option?
The exact check you'll have to make can vary depending on numerous variables, in this class it's mostly class dependent. Cantrips like Guidance can boost your odds at passing ability checks.
I've seen the persuasion option on almost every character since release. I didn't get the option as a drow or duergar (both durge), but they both had intimidation options instead, which avoided the fight.
